Prof. Stoichemaan teaches Ghost how to waltz in the great halls of Versailles. They dance beneath the chandeliers across the parquet floors while Stoichemaan carefully demonstrates the steps and rhythm of the waltz. Ghost makes the lesson difficult, disrupting the dance with mischievous tricks — popping in and out of position, appearing where it shouldn’t be, vanishing mid-step and reappearing somewhere else in the room, making the chandeliers flicker and the lights snap on and off, and just generally being a nuisance.
